Flowsun Chimneys are an improved, eco-friendly industrial chimney system developed to overcome the limitations of conventional brick, steel and RCC chimneys. These chimneys are factory-manufactured precast cement concrete structures, customized to suit various smoke and heat emitting industries.
The Flowsun Eco Chimney is a patented product, recognized by the Government of India under the category “An improved version of chimney suitable for industrial units”. Extensive research has enabled enhanced pollution control and improved fuel efficiency.
Cylindrically shaped individual concrete moulds are placed on top of one another to form the Precast Industrial chimney structure. The concrete structure is held together by an external skeleton in the form of a steel tower. External support allows the chimney to be minimally reinforced with steel avoiding cracks and damages during heat retention.
The conical base of the chimney is constructed using precast concreteblocks, allowing flexibility to customize the shape and height of the base and also the number and sizeof flue gas ducts. After the conical base is cured and ready, the modular rings are stacked on top ofone another to complete the chimney structure. The concrete structure is secured to the exoskeletonat regular intervals during the construction process. The completed chimney is then fitted with therequired accessories, painted & ready for commissioning.
